Education
We are pleased to introduce our Education Specialist, Elise Snarr. Her role is dedicated to fostering environmental awareness and promoting conservation practices across Greene County. Through hands-on programs, classroom presentations, and community events, the educator engages students, teachers, and residents in learning about soil health, water quality, agriculture, and natural resources. In addition to coordinating events like Envirothon and conservation field days, the Education and Public Relations Specialist also develops educational materials and manages public communications.
Programs are available to all types of groups, including public and private schools, homeschool networks, churches, scout troops, libraries, summer camps, and other community organizations. Their efforts help strengthen partnerships, build conservation-minded communities, and support the district’s mission of providing quality conservation assistance, education, and leadership.
